Well i played the second of the Bloggers freerolls on Pokerstars

It was No Limit holdem

720 started and top 200 qualified for the final, but i qualified last night so the aim was to get in the top 153 for another token and points!

Anyway after 3 hours we finally reached the magic 153, so was happy but very short stacked. I think the blinds were 800/400, and i had about 7000 chips, so i finally pushed with 99 an was called by AQ and the Q appeared, so ended up finishing 146th for a $11 token and a few more points

Well played the first POKERSTARS bloggers game tonight

It was a PLO game 540 players and top 200 qualify for main event

It also paid out SCOOP tickets to top 153

Anyway after a terrible start i managed to make the top 200 an managed to finish 11th for a $33 token (bit sick 9th paid $215)

There is a league for all this weeks games, so a good start with points on the board

Well played a few small games and cashed in a few but no wins, UNTIL, Tuesday Night!

Played the $30 $3K guaranteed on Ipoker and took it down for $891, so a great start to the new year

I also won a holiday in November playing the UKPPL league, will post details once i have sorted the prize.

I think i will stick to the 30 man STTs and the turbo 50 Man STTs, i seem to be ok with these, i think my worst losing run has been about 4 games but i then seem to win or place in the money, so all good so far, i think i have only had one losing session of about $5 since starting this

Played 5 games on stars ranging from $3 to $11, cashed in the Daily $40 for about $25and cashed in the $60K for another $28, so not a bad night i guess

Well now the hard work starts as the freerolls have stopped. At the end of the 8 days of freerolls i got the balance up to £10

Tonight i started by playing a $1 Heads Up which i won easily

I then played a 50 man MTT for $1, super turbo and managed 3rd for another $6, i then played another and got doen AK v 88, so i had to think before selecting my last game of the evening

Finally decided on a 30 MTT for another $1

Anyway i played really well and managed to take it down for $12!! It feels so good to get these small wins

Ok, have started playing again and needed a challenge so have set myself a challenge which will test my patience and my bankroll management (hopefully)

The Challenge will be on GCasino Poker

I will start the challnge with a starting balance of £0.40p

They are running freerolls all this month so the intention is to try and get up to a balance of about £50 and then start playing cash games and tournaments

Tuesday Night Update

Well not a bad start to the week

Played on ipoker last night and finished 31/1082 in the $30000 for $130 and played on stars in the $5000 added and finished 201 for $38 for nothing

Played tonight and after losing disconnection and not being able to add i finished 4th out of 842 for $710.70 in the $10000

Let the good times roll, playing really well at the moment and full of confidence

Easter Weekend Update

Well played a few games on Easter Friday whilst sitting in the pub, the best or worse was on Stars, where i played a $5 torney that had an $8K fund. Started with 5995 players and i ended up sucking out in 35th with AK v A9 sick! It would have put me in to about 8th place and a shot at the $3000 odd 1st place, not to worry

Sunday night i played a freeroll with $10K added, that started with 368 players on winner and i managed to finished 31st for about $45, better than nowt i guess, again suckout with JJ v 10 9!Will win one eventually

Then later on Sunday i played a freeroll which only had 20 players with the top 2 winnings a £325 seat to the International Poker School. Managed to take this one down and i have now got a seat for this. Basically you get training by pros for a full day. I will post more about this when i know exactly when i will be attending

It starts on the 2nd May 2010, which is my birthday, so will definatly be playing at least one of the events that day, as long as i stay sober!

Tuesday Update

Well i have now started my second Mutli MTT event and im trying this for a couple of reasons, first i want to play the same events over a set period and second, find two events where im most profitable.

The first set i played cost $146 and returned $473 over 6 games with only 1 cash, that being in the $25K guaranteed which had a $11 rebuy entry

This second set is over 12 games and a cost of $292, so far i have played 7 games and have cashed in 3 for $170, that being in the $4K guaranteed, $25K rebuy and the $10K guaranteed, i seem to favour the $25K one so far, but lets see at the end

Anyways, doing ok and showing a nice profit so far so fingers crossed

Played a few games tonight

Highlight was the $30K where i finished 54th for about $100

I also cashed in a couple of small games on stars

Ended up playing 6 SNGs ranging from 18 man tables to 45 tables, even thorugh in a high/Low Omaha game for $3 managed to win that for $21 lol

Out of the seven games i cashed in 6 and won 2 so pretty happy with my short play

1st night playing for a fortnighyt, been away to Malaga so played 2 games tonight

The 1st game was a $6 rebuy, finished about 220/990 for nowt

2nd game $10 rebuy and finished 9th for $445, so not a bad night i guess, i had QQ all in pre flop he had 99 and hit a night hight straight! Sick Beat

Good Hand or Heartbreak?

Good evening

Well i played a couple of games tonight and nothing to write home about if im honest, did ok on the cash tables winning about £80, however the cards were against me in the torneys.

Ok in my previous post i mentioned the SCOOP torneys, and can now confirm that they start on the 3rd May, 1 day after my birthday and i intend to play all the low stakes games. Its the same as last year, there are three levels of buyin so plenty of games for every bankroll. Just click on the Pokerstars link at the side.

Anyway, back to tonights games, not to bore you but in two torneys i pushed in the blinds with AK, I am now to starting to think this should be called Ache King, as both times i got done by A7 and A5, which is why playing poker is clearly a games of skill. (OBVIOUSLY)

Weekend Update

Well did not play many as 1st day back at work after a week off.

Friday night played in the pub, as the family were away.

Anway, played on Boyle and played a $10 torney, had about 200 players. After 4 hours get down to the final table and theres just me and the landlord sat in the pub. Anway sitting 2nd with 7 to go, and nightmare strikes, we lose connections. Gutted, anyway went home and was expecting to be blinded out, but to my amazement i finished 3rd for $353 so not a bad result, i like Boylespoker!

Played a couple of small buy ins on Sunday night and did nothing if im honest

Anyway, will be writing about the upcoming scoop games on pokerstars

2nd Sunday of the Year

Well i played the $100k torney on starts that started at 8pm as i was pretty tired.

It started with 34340 players lol, after 3 hours we were down to the money as it paid 5400, well to be honest i was small stack for ages, finally picked up QQ and pushed 12k and got called by 98 and he hit trips lol. I won $18 and finished 3923 lol

Played a couple of STTS and did terrible

Starting Friday i am doing a few staking torneys on ipoker, 6 games costing about $145 and a few mates have staked me, i have 30% of any winning and they have the rest. I will update as i play them.

Working nights this week again, but played a little game today on pokerstars, it was a $2 rebuy with maximum 500 players. I rebought once and added on so a total cost of $6 lol Anyway it paid top 54 and after what seemed ages i managed to finish 15th for $41.60 lol

Sunday Night First Games of The Year

Hopefully i will be playing every Sunday and a few midweek games to get back in the swing

Well quite an eventful first day back.

I started with teh Sunday warm up on Stars, i had a token for the $215 buy in so used that

Stared of pretty tight and won a few hands and after about 2 hours was sitting with 25K and doing ok. The event started with about 4900 players and it paid about 750 One hand i played really badly and i was down to about 4000, so i shoved with 10 9 spades and hit 10s i then shoved with 88 v AK and thankfully they held up and i was back up to about 20K.

Just as the bubble burst i had QQ and won bout 15K which gave me about 40K as we entered the money stages.

I was playing really well and we were down to about 210 players when i get AA. One player mid position with about 80K raised to about 15K and i shove for 70K, any way he calls and flips over A 8 diamonds, well, bad beats or what, i have the hand history, but to gutted to post, needless to say he hits a straight and im gone, i would have had about 150K and been well in touch to finish at least in the top 50 i reckon, anyway i won $576 so not a bad score.

I also played a couple of games on boylepoker and managed to cash in one of the three i played, but nothing massive, about $60 i think, also played a few cash games at low stakes to get back in to the swing.

Well i will update now on a weekly basis

Sorry i have not updated for a while but i am finally back playing

Did not play as much as i wanted last year, the highlight was winning a trip to vegas through Virgin poker, downsise was i only played about 2 live events, Dublin and a night in Vegas

This year i will update at least once weeek and will be aiming to play ay least one live game at the WSOP

Ok, where to start

Won a couple of small games, but nothing serious

Played a game on Virgin to win a seat to the Virgin Poker Festival in April up in Newcastle. The first week, i was bubble boy and finished 4th for 30 euros, top 3 all won seats worth 150 euros Anyway, the following week i managed to finish 2nd and get my seat, so looking forward to that

Tonight i played a few games, came 5th in the Poker United game, 25th in the Tony G game for a few more dollars and the sat down at 7pm to play a big one

Played the FTOPS $120 headhunter torney. Anyway when i was finally knocked out after 5 hours I ahd taken 2 heads ! LMAO

It started at 7 pm and there were 9003 players and it paid the top 1080, it had a fund of 900K!

I finally went out when i pushed on the BB with 44 and was called by the chip leader who showed Q 10 and hit her 10

Anyway, i managed 555th out of 9003, so happy with that, but gutted did not finish a bit higher! OH well, always next time

Ok, back in the swing of things now the christams period has finally settled done

Ok, tonight played a £10 on Willy Hills but went out just after the first break for £0!

Next game was the Virgin freeroll and again went out early, so not a sgood start to the year

Then i played a torney on Stars for $5

Sunday Night Games

What a busy night

Ok, started of with the $10 Poker Utd game, anyway finished 3rd for about $35

Then played the esport end of season freeroll, out of 168 finished 32nf for $15 lol

We also did a equity scheme with our team and one of our players finished 3rd for $400, so we all get about $60

Then played the Sunday $200K, but just on to the 3nd hour pushed 5000 with KK and ran in to AA

Last but not least played the Bloggers Final. Anyway it started with 368 runners and paid the top 100. I was sitting in the top 20 throughout, but then with A3 on a board of A,10,3, i bet out 5000, raised by villian to $15ooo so i move all in, and he shows KQ, turn card nothing but the river he hits the Jack for a straight and a massive pot and im down to about 8000, and still 23 until the payout. Anyway i manage to hold on and finish 82 for a $83 ticket. I reckon that hand if i had won i would have definatly finished in the top 10, but i had to do it, just got unlucky

Oh well, always next time, i cant complain, i did get about $550 out of the weeks freerolls on Pokerstars, so a big thank you to them

Well played the PokerStars Blogger 1st qualifier tonight

Started at 19.30, anyway it was Limit Omaha, which is not my favourite, but decided to play really tight for the 1st hour as 72 qualified to the finals on Sunday

Anyway, with 450 runners i knew it was a long night. I finally managed to get to the 72, so got my ticket for Sundays final. Then once it got to 54, you could win steps tickets worth $27 and $82, anway shocked myself and managed to get through to that....And it continues, i then thought right try and make the final table which pays two $215 vouchers, so an additional $430, and i made it!

Finally finished in 4th, which is without doubt my best result at Omaha

Will try the other qualifiers this week, just to try and win tokens!

Thursday Night Games

Well played two games tonight

1st was the Virgin points game, only played this to keep up with the league table which is run on punters lounge each month, im presently 4th, so gotta try and make 1st for xmas. Anyway, 123 runners and i got disconnected about 90 minutes in, gutted, i eventually finished 25th! Gutted as i was going ok and going for at least a top 20 position for more points

2nd Game was the $10K on Poker Utd, it had $5 buy in and was a turbo rebuy. 701 runners and paid the top 80. As you can imagine it was thick and fast. Anyway after 2 hours i managed to finish 15th for about $95, so gotta be happy with that i suppose

On punters lounge they have two promotions running at the moment, 1st one is with Stan james, its a 12 week league and your best 7 scores count. So far we have played 5, and i have 2 decent scores, 1st and 5th and im 4th in the league. 1st Prize in this is a WSOP seat to a $1500 event, there are a couple of other prizes for 2nd and third, but dont want them!

The other is just a monthly league on Poker Kings, it pays the top 5, i am currently 7th after 2 games, but plenty of time to improve as this month there are 5 games and best 3 scores count, i made the final table last time, just need to move up a bit or win one.

Well thats about it

Just the one game tonight and managed 5th. Im playing in a league which is over 12 weeks and best 7 results, played 4 so far and tonights is my second best result after winning it last week and im sitting 4th in the league, so feeling pretty confident

1st Prize is for a seat at the World Series in vegas

Ok, in May we won the esport league

Well we have been playing in it again for 12 weeks and tonight was the last night, unfortunatly i think we have finished 2nd, a bad night really as we should have won it, i think we have won about $1800, but 1st was $3500! Oh well it was free

Also at the same time there is a Euro league and i think we have finished about 12th for another $500 or so

Well tonight i played the Poker God game, but donked out early when i moved all in with QQ and was called by 10 10 but he hit on the river

Second game was the League game on Pokerroom, so far i have played 2 and final tabled both for a 7th and a 2nd, well tonight i kept the record going and again finished 7th when i pushed 13K with KK and was called by AQ and he hit on the flop

Third game was the Poker Utd sunday night game. Played pretty steady and got heads up with Ash and managed to take it down for about $140, so not a bad night

Ok a quick update

Sunday night played my second league game and finished 7th so so more points for the team.

Monday night i played the Litllewoods $2000 game and finished 14thh for $20

Tuesday played the 1st of 3 games on CircusPoker organised by Punters Lounge. I finished 3rd for about $30 and took out the bounty for another $10, but more importantly got a few points as its your best three scores that count and eventually the winner gets a £500 seat at a live event in Birmingham. I also played the Pokerstars Million dollar Men torney which had a buy in of $5. Basically it was against 6 pros that will play the WSOP final in November. All you had to do was out last all 6 and the remaining players would share $25000. I managed to do this and won about $40 and i thnk i finished about 330th and we all got an additional $60.

Wednesday i played the Littlewoods $3000 and managed to finish 4th for about $180

Thursday i played a new lague game on Punters Lounge but donked out about 36th or something like that, bad start as this is over 4 games and the winners get a seat to play for a $1500 WSOP seat!

Also last night i have started a challenge which means that everynight i have to find freerolls, and i mean completely free not MPP or raked hands and then see if i can reach $1500 by April. Its quite a challenge really as most have loads of player, but got of to a good start last night on Playboy Poker. 177 runners and finished 21st for $1!!!!!!!

Well what a great time was had by all at the Punters Lounge Annual event at DTD in Nottingham

First event was the Omaha, i did not play this, but wish i had as most people had not played either!

Anyway MCFC or WASP took it down

Next we had a side event £20 STT, managed to get heads up but we did a deal (dont know why?) and took £80 each.

Well the main event was a £50 freezout, well i started off realy well and was double the starting stack of 5000, but the beer started kicking in and was playing any two as you do, i then moved all in out of position with & 2 of clubs and was called by AJ in the BB, silly move, but when the 7 came down though my luck would hold, but it was nt to be and that more or less crippled me and i was gone about 30th i think.

Anyway i played another £10 STT and managed 3rd for another £20 i think, although not sure

Anyway had a great time

Played 1 game tonight as the esport league games have fired up again, statred with 72 players and i managed to finish 2nd so planty of points for the team and team mate Gazblades finished 7th in his, so hopefuly we will be back on top after 3 games.

Sorry for not posting for a while, to be honest i have not been playing that much.

Played two torneys tonight on PokerStars

1st was a for Player points and finished 6th for 1000 points lol

2nd was a qualifier to the $55 buyin $70K guaranteed. It had 145 runners and cost $5, won this quite easily and kept the $55 for another night.

This weekend im off to Nottingham to play the Punters lounge World Series which has a buy in of £55 LOL

I promise that starting Monday i will update this every night that i play as i quite miss it. I will also update my winnings to date

Well i forgot to update last night

Monday night, well i played a freeroll on Blue Square and lasted about 15minues when my KKs busted by 73! Enough said

I then played on Full Tilt, i hardly ever use the site to be honest but have about $250 in there so played a $5 torney. 1300 runners! Anyway after 4 hours i finished 30th for about $40! Dont think i`ll be playing that too often

Tonight, well i started on the Poker Utd Freeroll and again i lasted about 15 minutes when i was rivered, but it was free so my fault

I then played the daily torney on Punters Lounge which was a $10 buy in on Poker Stars. It was with for Vicky Corans birthday! Anyway there was 104 players and they added $1000, i played really well and made the final table, which was good as it only paid 12!

Anyway result is below, and i managed 4th for $190,but its not about the money at the moment, just want some long game practice and over the last few days been lasting 3 hours plus pretty easily, so give it a couple of weeks and will start playing the Sunday Million on PS again

Well slowly getting back in to the grind

Played 3 torneys

First was the PokerGod torney on William Hill. 200 players and i finished 25th for a few points

Second game was the Poker Utd League game. 28 runners and i finished 3rd for $60 and some points, so pretty happy

Last game played the $200K on Poker Stars, 21000 runners and finished 2010 for $23 LOL

Anyway played two tonight to get back in to the swing of things. First played a freeroll on Poker Trillion 520 runners and finished 66th so not too bad

Sorry for not posting for a month

Ok, where to start. Not really been playing a lot as i have been concentrating on playing just Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Uk Pokernews League

Well that finished on Thursday last week and the results are below and i managed to win $3000 which will pay for my Trip to Gibralter to play a torney out there at the end of August

Funny really cos the same night i play a $5 torney on betfair, which i have not used for ages. It was to win a ticket to the WSOPE final worth $550. Anway about 50 runners and it paid top 6. Managed to win the ticket and $188 so about $750 for a $5 layout! Bargian

Last weekend i played in Blackpool and driving up felt really good especially after winning so much the night before. Anyway i was playing for Punters Lounge and met up with the players for a few beers and a laff on the Friday. Did a few sky rides on the pier with Geordie gaz and then proceeded to get drunk.

Day of the races, just wanted to continue getting drunk to be honest and after a couple of hours in the event i was out! Played a few cash games unsuccessfully but won a quite a bit on the tables, weird really.

Met up with loads of old faces and new ones. Great to finally meet up with the RTR crew and had a laff and a joke with BurnleyMik and Mike Saban

Had a top weekend, even if they would not let me back in the casino when i tried about 11pm after going on a pub crawl!

Anyway of to thailand for three weeks at the weekend so some R&R, but will probably play a coule of games!

Well quite a decent night

Played a $10 rebuy and after 4 hours managed to finish 5th for $750! Happy Days

I then played the 3rd of my league games and won that!!!!!! It was a $10 entry and i won $55 but more importantly, i have now played 3/10 and finished 4th, 2nd and 1st. So i now have 60 points which in my reckoning is 1st or 2nd, just have to keep the momentum up and hopefully at the end of July i will have won the league and the few bob that go with it!

Wow 101st Post LMAO

Well i played the second of my league games on pokeroom. I played the first on Tuesday and finished 4th for 10 points. 1st place got 30 points.

Well tonight i finished 2nd for 20 points, so on my recking i should be in the top 3. Whooot Whoot, only 8 games to go and so far $90 in profit LOL

Played the virgin freeroll airmiles (gonna start collecting these miles), was about 6th of 14 with 9K had KK and raised x 3, BB called and flop AQ 6, so pushed and ran in to A 8, so that was the end of that!

First of all sorry for not updating, but have not really played as much as id like and i was away last weekend

Ok tonight i played the last league game on Pokeroom and finished 8th so a bad start to be honest

Then i played the virgin airmiles freeroll. It had about 160 players and after three hours made the final table. Anyway managed to habd around as the small stack and eventually pushed with Q 10 and ran in to QQ. Finished 3rd for 60000 air miles which is basically a free return flight to Vegas baby! So chuffed with that really

Started playing another league on Pokeroom. First game of 10 was Tuesday and finished 4th. Next one is tmrw, so hopefully after tonight feel i am playing well so hopefully go a couple of places better!

Well plated the Ecoop event 8 and finished about 30 players outside the money like a donk on Friday night. I then decided to play a $30 deepstack for $8.5 and managed 3rd for $995 so that made up for it a little bit

Tonight played the Poker Inside mag Freeroll to win a $10K package, absolutely gutted. managed to get heads up and with a 20K slight lead and started losing connection and then could not chat. Anyway i overbet a hand loooking for a 5 or any spade to hit a flush but it never happened and i lost, not much more i can say really, although i did get $150!!!! Wow, $10K package to South Africa or $150! Oh well next time

First was the forum freeroll we won on punters lounge

Anway managed to get to the final table and win 60 euros for a couple of hours work

Thursday Night Games and Update

Well weird week as not as much poker as i would have liked to played

Sunday night cashed yet again in the $100K, 23000 runners and finished about 2400 for about $25 LMAO

Started on Monday playing the VC $35K, managed to cash with about 1200 runners finished 55th for $116

Tuesday had pool and watched the football, so no games

Wednesday only played cash games and won about $60 playing pot limit, really was just playing to get my raked hand bonus on VC

Thursday, well started of playing the Poker Trillion $10K freeroll, 1100 runners and finished about 250 after an hour and an half! So you can see the standard was not great, pushed with AA called by 96 and he hit a straight

Then played my heads up league game, this lasted about 15 minutes, but won it pretty easily to be honest, i need the points.

Finally and currently playing the VC $35K, i seem to have a good record in this torney, i think from the last 6 times i have cashed 5 times and its only a $10 rebuy, so pretty good value. Tonights game had 1364 and currently 480 left and it pays top 150, so hopefully will update this thread later this evening, or even better early tmrw, which is my birthday, 36!!!!!!!!!

I had AQ diamonds on the button, blinds were 20K and 10K, i had 80K left, one person called and he had AK spades, and that they say was the end of that

Well sorry i have not updated for a week but the family were away so on the lash to be honest

Anway, played a couple of small torneys and cashed in a couple but nothing over £100

Last night played a league heads up game which i managed to win so im only 6 points behind the leader! I also played a $5 rebuy and managed to get to the final table but finished 8th for $111 LOL

Tonight just playing on VC and still playing as im typing this update, so fingers crossed. Anway, i was watching our team red aces in the league game as we are currently top and stand a good chance to win the league as only about 6 games left.

Anway i was watching this and played a $3 Tilt torney, which bascially you get 100 chips and its either all in or bust out basically. 243 runners and it paid top 15. The top 15th to 3rd get cash and top 2 get a torney token

BUZZING, i managed to finish 2nd and win a torney ticket worth $1000 to play in the monthy $750K torney! This is a torney that starts on a friday evening and then after 5 hours stops and restarts on a Sunday!

Not sure when im gonna play but its valid for 3 months, so will keep you all up to date

Hopefully will edit this post if i win the troney im playing now on VC, its the $10 entry, 35K prize fund, it started with 1035 players and pays top 150 players, still 600 left, but fingers crossed

Well i played the VC $150K on Friday which had 1177, i managed to cash as it paid the top 150. I ended up finishing 51st for $450, gutted as 5oth paid $525, oh well

Tonight i played the VC $50K, that had 456 runners and paid the top 50, to be honest i was lucky to make the money, anyway i managed to hold on and finished 40th for $338, last hand pushed last 13K in to a 30K poy with 99, other guy had AJ and spiked the A on the turn and that was that

Well i played quite a few games today as i had to look after my youngest jamie who is nearly three as he came down with chicken pox!

Anway, started with a $3 Sat torney and won that easily, then moved to the $22 satalite torney and won that, so that gave me a seat to Saturdays final for a mini package to the WSOP, which basically pays for two $1500 events, hotels and flights, and a bit of spends, so fingers crossed, and hopefully my good run on VC with continue.

I then did not really play many games to be honest, grinded out about 200 games on Poker Trillion cash games at $0.50/$1 and ended up about $50, so pretty happy.

Anyway, pool tmrw, although i might play a few games instead

Well i played three torneys tonight

Played the 100K on Poker Stars, it started with 22000 runners! Anyway it payed the top 3000, i managed to finish 2328th, for $22 lol

I then played the sunday league game and managed to finish 3rd so some well deserved points for our team.

Finally played a freeroll on Poker Trillion but it ended up an all in fest, anyway from about 160 players i think i finished about 70th, enough said

Saturday Live Poker

Well i went down to the local casino in Plymouth to play a £20 qualifier to the APAT torney in Edinburgh on the 3rd and 4th of May

Anyway, there was only 9 runners DOH! So i knew it would not be the best game. Anway, my mate goes out after about 20 minues when in the big blind he has K6 and a flop of K 6 9, so he flat calls, gets raised and pushes all in, anway the other guy had 78 and hits on the turn for a straight and that was his torney, unlucky Adam.

After about an hour i start to make a few moves which include a re raise to 1200 with 72 off and the other guy folds, so i knew i was looking good and my table image was working.

To cut a long story short, i ended up taking about 5 of them out and i won the event!

I got about £60 and a seat to the event, although will be using the ticket for a diferent event as too short notice really and its my birthday that weekend!

Oh yeah i geta gold medal as well LOL

Well played a couple of games tonight

First game played a league game on pokeroom. Played really badly, and finished 18th. Had A5 on a flop of 234, river comes a J and i push all in, other player turns over 22 so has trips and the river hits a 3 and im gone, hey how!

Second game, i played on VC and played a $11 qualifier to the ECOOOP event 8 which has a prize fund of $300K. Anyway it has 48 runners, managed to make the final table and qualify, so happy about that, so that game is on the 30th May, so something to look forward to, just need to try and qualify for the other 9 events!

Ok, i arrived in Prague on Monday afternoon and after a kip decided to see what the casion would be like for the weeks events. Well after being ripped of in a cab and finally after walking around for an hour i register at the casion and return to my hotel where i then notice there is no internet access and i have forgotten my charger for the phone! So i decide to sit at the so called bar and get drunk very cheaply.

Ok we meet up the next afternoon, there is me, Morlspin, SpurmanDan (who qualified for all three events), Rosco and his missis Aimee and Gaz, Morls mate. So we then go for some food, but not hungry so settle for a large beer. Anyway on to the casino. We then meet up with Jon (swampster, Editor of Flush Magazine and shareholder in me LOL) and his wife Amy. It starts of a bit of a downer cos Aimee has not got a seat and it is sold out. Anyway, the beers free all nite so on to the Poker. Its a 100 Euros buy in with 54 Runners and quite a few sit outs! Anyway after about three solid hours i`m playing reasonable and there are about 23 left. I only have a stack of about 11K from a starting stack of 5K. Been drinking solidly thought, so happy with that! Anway cant remember all the hands etc, just that theres three tables left and i deceide to push after Morls raises 3 x BB to about 2.4K, i think i pushed with something like 9K with 77 and one more caller who flips over QQ and that was that torney. I think Jon went out 1st, then Rosco and then me in 21st, anway Dan goes next in 20th and then Morls follows in 19th. Anyway, it was not all bad, Jons wife Amy managed to cash in 6th place so bit congrats to her as she played really well. We then proceed to get drunk er

There was also a €30 PL STT while we waited for Amy to finish, where Aimee was 3rd, with Dan (SpurMan) taking down the victory with a J 5 straight made on the turn against me but i still won 1900 Kroner, which is about £60.

Next day meet up at the casino at about 5.30 for a 6pm start, same again 54 runners but the buy in is 250 euros. Very similar to the day before, played very steady and tight and always ahead of my starting stack of 7500. Anway made it to the last two tables, but not for very long, i think the blinds were about 1000/2000, anway decided to make a stand and pushed all in pre flop with AK and one caller with QQ, and again done by the queens and im gone, i think Morls made 10th place and Rosco 9th, but again no cashers! Starting to get paranoid

Anyway, few beer and hit the roulette table and low and behold, i can do no wrong (which is unusual), i end up winning about 7000 kroner which is about £200, so i have my buy in back again, so pretty happy!

Wednesday day off, but we all go for a few beers and then back to the Casion as Dan is playing in a $25K freeroll and we get there and hes on the final table, so its fingers crossed and loads more free beers. Anway i think we jinxed him as he got knocked out very unluckily once we arrive with AK v AQ, and hes out in 7th and it only pays top 6. That sucks! Anyway me and Morls hit the town and end up in Kayotes Bar, which is excellent and highly recommended

Day 4 and its the main event with a buy in of 550 euros and im rough as shite! We again start at 6pm with 54 runners and i decide not to drink, anyway im up and down like a tarts knickers, anyway i lose about 3000 when my JJ is done by a King on the river, so enough is enough and i hit the beers. Anyway is seems to work and after an hour or so im back above my starting stack of 10000. Anyway we make the final two tables and there is me and Dan left on seperate tables thankfully. Anyway the beers are kicking in and the few significant hands i remember are when the blinds are 1000/2000 and i flat call in position two with AA, somebody pushes all in and i call instantly for about 11K, anyway im back up to around the 20K mark and average is 23K so feeling good, two hands later someone calls all in and i have AK, i think if im gonna win anything gotta go for it. I call all in as he has me slightly covers and he shows AQ. My hand holds up and im loving this. Anyway im in BB and SB pushed all in as everyone has folded i call with 55 for about 10K and i take out his 10 7! Cant really remember any more siginificant hands and im on the final table!

A dont play many hands but seem to be doing ok and then we are down to 4. I make a steal with 78 diamonds and then i call an all in which we both have AK for a split pot, then a few hands later i move all in with A5, get caled by AK and QQ, flop comes 5 8 A K 7, so im gone but happy. I win 85000k, which is about 2600 and i get some more cos 10000 euros were added but will be credited to my poker account, so in total im told i`ve won £3600, which gives me £900 and pays the shareholders £2700 or £27 per share, so we all win.

Later im also told that cos i finished 4th i also finished 3rd in the torney leaderboard which was for people who played all three events, which means i`ll get another $2000 placed in my online account.

So in total i reckon i have won about £5000, £4500 on the torneys and £500 with a STT and the roulette

Well i played the 3rd of my league games on pokerroom for our team Red Aces. Played ok and managed to win it again, so that two 1st and a 4th, so doing ok really!

Played the V points game on Virgin and out of 99 players managed to final table before finishing 8th for 1000 air miles. By getting to the final table i am now eligible for the monthly final where if you finish in the top 10 you can win up to 20000 airmiles, so looking forward to that, although i will be in prague, but will try and play it.

Wanted to play in the 1 million game on pokerstars but withdrew my entry and have now got $216 in torney tickets, but i am sure i will use them sometime this week.

Well quick update, i started playing in a league through PokerRoom. Basically there are 10 players per team and 5 play each week. At the end of 15 weeks the top teams received up to $5000. Anyway played the first and managed 4th so got some points. We are currently second in the league so always room to improve.

Anyway back to tonights games. Started on Paddy Power in a 10K freeroll with 1400 players. managed to finish 91st for $14 so easy free money. Currently playing another one now.

I then played another of the Pokerroom league games as these run every Wednesday and Sunday. What happens is that you play 20 man torneys and its all points based. Anyway following sundays 4th i managed to finish 1st tonight, so more points for the team.

Looking forward to tomorrows inter forum challenge after finishing 4th last week, need to keep t up for the points and try and final table again.

Well i have now sold 50 shares and hopefully will get some practise in before going to Prague at the end of the month.

Well i did not get to play as many games as i thought i would this week, but played a couple on Virgin, with success on only one which was in the form of a token.

Anyway tonight played in the interforum challenge and represented Punters Lounge. Buy in was 5 euros, 130 players representing 5 fourms, well after 4 hours managed to finish 3rd for 8 points and about 80 euros, so pretty happy.

Weird Friday Night Poker

Well started off with a freeroll on CD Poker

116 runners and 1 prize to the pokernews cup in Austria. To cut a long story short, i finished 2nd, gutted, i have posted a copy of the final screenshot on raisetheriver forum.

Anyway, i entered a casino torney on the 7th Feb, which basically meant that i paid £5 andi had a an hour to try and win as much as i could on a casino fruit machine, anyway i got it up to £30K. Until tonight the nearest to me was on 9K and he did not improve, so as bonus i got 1st Prize £500!!!!!

So i was buzzing and moved the money over to the poker side of littlewoods.

Started playing the $1/$2 tables

After a couple of hours probably about $200 up and then i get a top hand (details below) Oh my god was i glad he did not have A rag of diamonds!

Anyway, i have now gone well above the $4k profit for the year, not including casino or horse! LOL

Don`t forget next week 20 torneys, and i hope to pass the $5K mark!

Well sorry for not posting for a couple of weeks i have not really been playing much, just freerolls and cash games

Well i withdrew 50% of my bankroll and have changed in to Eurs for when i go to play a few torneys in Prague, but doing ok

Played a couple tonight

Played the Daily Star torney on Sky Poker and managed to qualify for the final tmrw, although i have pool so not sure if i will be playing

Then i played in the Pnters Lounge $5 on Poker Trillion, only managed 19th so no winnings their

Finally a played a $30 $10K torney on Blue Square and finished 16th for $100, bit gutted when i went out, but looking back i overplayed a pair and if you play with matches you will eventually get burnt as i had been reraising the same guy all evening. Anyway profit so can complain.

I have now said that next week i am going to play 20 torneys over 5 days, so this week is mainly about warming up just to get back in to it. I am hoping to cash in at least a third so say 7 and hopefully Final Table about 5, so i promise that i will update every day

I will also play at least one of them in the Sky Open

Well the family is awat in France so not really played a lot to be honest, but since i started recordeing all my results i hve now gone over the $4K mark since january 3rd, so great start to the year

I did play a freeroll tonight on Purple, but only managed 3rd out of 70, 1st prize was a meal in a top London hotel, my QQ got busted by J9 when a J came down on the river and busted me out with 50K in chips, i would have won the torney if i won that hand, but not to worry, it was only a freeroll and i will now start playing again in a couple of days when they all return, enjoying the social side whilst the family is away!

Well played a few freerolls this week but no cash torneys really.

Started the night of with the Raise the River League game for a $5 buy in and managed second for $19, so not a bad start.

After last weekend have not really played

Just to update, got three tips, and did a few bets, a treble, a patent, a EW doubles and one other, anyway layed out £35.

1st horse places at 8/1, second wins at 20/1 and the 3rd horse also wins at 20/1, £1397 later, been on the beer all week !!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway back to the poker, played a $2500 guaranteed on VC and got battered when my 77 gets done by A 2 on a flop of 88 5 99 ! Doh, lucky mucker!

Next game played the $7500 for a buy in of $5, 658 players and managed a to finish 5th for $459, so not too bad

Well what a few days

I qualified for Sunday Irish open Final last week but was too knackered to play so somebody played for me and finished 98 out of 230, so not too bad.

Since then i have been running terrible.

Played 7 torneys on Boss ranging from $5 to $30 and lost the lot, did not cash in any, worst run of the year.

BUT alass. Played a few tonight and tried to see what i was doing wrong.

The 1st game was on Boss and did not cash, but realised played far to aggresive after a losing streak and also playing to many hands out of position.

Anyway, change of tactics.

Played a $5 buy in on Victor Chandler with a $2K prize and managed 2nd out of about 90 runners for $400, which built my balance back up, as you will see below. Bit gutted really when heads up, i had JJ raise the blinds x 3, he pushes all in, i call he has A 5 and a A comes on the flop, but just glad to put an end to the streak as starting to get paranoid. However, when losing, or not cashing in 5 or more torneys, i always read the history and see why its changed, anyway it paid off.

Then i played a $7 buy in with a $4.5K prize with 254 players which paid the top 30 and I managed 1st place for $1, 386.27, get in my first win of the year THANK FECK!

Wednesday Night Poker

Very weird night.

Started of playing a couple of large $5 and $10 MTTs, and donked out pretty early, i just could not get a read on any table whatsoever.

I ended up playing 5 MTTS and in all i would be sitting pretty and then just do some thing really stupid, like thinking the button was stealing and each time i got caught out.

Anyway in 3 hours i never cashed in any of the 5.

I decided to have an hour off to sort my head out and really concentrate.

Anyway it seemed to work a little. I played a $15 MTT on VC with 320 runners and managed 15th for $48, although i was sitting in about 6th and somebody pushed when i had AA, i called he had KQ and hit 2 pairs, then about two hands later i`m sat in BB and it comes round and i check with 10 10, flop gives me another 10 and someboody moves all in on a board of 10, 3, 5, so i instantly call, he shows A 2, turn nothing, river 4 gives him a straight and leaves me with about 12K and the blinds at 4 and 8K so i was out shortly afterwards. I kept thinking i should have shoved pre flop, but not gonna dwell on it.

After that i played a few cash games on Virgin to get the 25 hands required for the Thursday V Freeroll to win more airmiles. Anyway i was doing ok a few dollars up and somebody watching asks if antones wants to leave so he can play. I say i will play 3 more hands and then he can take my seat.

Third hand comes round and it gives me QQ, i was only playing 12/25cents, so i raise to 1.25 and get 2 callers, flop is all low but hears, although i have Q hearts, i bet out $3 and one folds the other calls. turn comes K, i bet $6 he calls, river comes 5, so nothing on the board i reckon for him as i put him on A rag, i push all in for $22 and he calls, sure enough he has A 6, which gives him pair of sixes, LMAO so a nice little earner playing that tables.

Overall for the night i reckon i lost about $55, but not as bad as it could have been.

Well i played really well tonight considering.

Started of in a $15 buy in tonrney on Blue Square and finished 15 of 168 for $45 LOL

Then played a $5 on Blue Square and finished 58th out of 1500 for about $35.

Then played a $2 satallite to the $20 buy in for the Irish open. Finished joint first for a ticket. Then i played the qualifier at 11.35pm, played really well, best i have played for ages and won that so got a ticket for Sundays final worth $330, the final quarantees 6 tickets to the final in Dublin which is in March and the prize is worth $8K, so gotta be on my game on Sunday night!

Was supposed to play the Virgin $100K last night but they did not register me so have that to look forward to on Sunday as well, busy time

Well i am still recording every game and so far, not including the token since the 3rd January i am showing a healthy profit of about $1700, so prety happy with my game at the moment

Thursday Night games

Well i only played two games, the freeroll on Poker Time which had 3001 runners and i managed to finish 203 for the mighty amount of $7.70.

Then the main event, the 10 Week torney i qualified for on Virgin. Well got in to the top 20 paid places and then it seemed to go all wrong. i wont go in to detail, but i shoved on the SB for my last 2.2K with 33 and was called by K5 and he hit, so i bubbled in 11th place, gutted realy as i just read what i had won and if i would have sat out i could of got 10th which would have given me a free seat to the next Virgin poker Event in Newcastle in April

So alls i won was a free entry in to the weekly 100K on virgin worth 120 Euros, although its some compensation, if i dont get in to the top 50 on Sunday i will be dissapointed.

Finally, i played a $1000 guaranteed with a buy in of $5 on Littlewoods poker. 149 runners and i managed to finish 3rd for $149, so not too downbeat now, although i need to start winning instead of 2nds and 3rds!

Oh well owt for nowt i suppose and after checking by betting history i have cashed in 7 out of 12 torneys for this year so no too upset

Wednesday Night Poker

Well i have not played since last week as i was away in Burnley visiting the folks. So tonight i thought i`d play a couple of torneys on VC

Fisrt game $5 buy in and paid top 80, well playing really well and sitting about 50th from 600 runners, anyway get to final 90 and i get AA, so i try and bully and push all in with 9K, anyway 2 callers and the one with worse hang K10 hits a straight and im gone 82nd! DOH

Anyway, calmed down and played the $10K torney for a buy in of $30. 318 runners and it pays top 40, new i was in with a chance when on the 2nd hand hit a full house and two callers.

Anyway to cut a long story short i made the final table and was always hovering above the small stack. Well i managed a credible 3rd for $950 so cant complain, best result so far this year, although only played about 10 torneys!

Well a quiet night really. I qualified for the weekly torney playing 15 STTS the last week. Started of at 20.00pm on Virgin with 38 runners and paid top 5 and also the top 5 qualify for the final event which i mentioned previously where 40 players will play for 7.5K in prizes. Started off slowly but after about an half an hour showed all in with KK against a flop of J 6 3, one caller who shows the standard AJ, lookily my hand held up and form then on only played premium hands. Got to the final table and was sitting about 8th and doubled up pretty soon so just had to bide my time. Sure enough a few players with more chips buetd out and i hung on for 4th and 30 Euros. Was not bothered about the money just wanted to be in the final next Thursday the 17th. Fingers Crossed.

Well it started of with 3 freerolls all with between 500 and 1800 and i busted out pretty early in all to be honest.

Played a few more tokens on T6 and now habe just over 280 in tokens, so progressing nicely.

Played 15 STT on Virgin so i could play the freeroll for 250 on Wednesday where there is cah and top 5 qualify for the final at the end of the moonths with 7.5K in prizes, and limited to 40 places.

Played the $3 and the $5 on virin, cashed in 11 of them, just played the 5 seaters, the standard id terrible to be honest, i was 4 tabling at one stage and just sat out and still when i logged in i was heads up with 900 and you star with 1500!

Thought i had also better start a bankroll on VC seeing as im going to Prague with them. Well so far from an intial deposit of £100 i am now up to £185 this week and i have also paid 110 euros for day 1, so looking good.

I played a $3 rebuy on their tonight, 98 runners, did not rebuy just added on and finished 4th for $142.50, gutted really as called the all in for 90K and he had AJ i had AQ heatrs and jack came on the flop so that was the end of that.

Nearly forgot, played a Headhuter last night on Littlewoods poker, not really played much of these but did ok for £2 LOL

Well played the Virgin freeroll for Airmiles and bolloxed it up early and finished bout 35th, so a bit dissapointed, mainly after AA got beat by 89 diamonds when he hit a straight on the river

Started logging all my games from today, so sticking with it. Doing it through check my bets which is pretty simple (it needs to be)

Started today witha couple of cash games to get some points for the Virgin freeroll as you have to play 25 hands to enter, ended up about $18 down!

Anyway, logged it to T6Poker which is a new site advertised in Poker Player Magazine. I played a few freerolls on there last month and have a free bankroll of 179 Euro, although cannot withdraw till after the weekend! As its a new site.

Anyway, downloaded the new software and they give you a 25 euro token to use in their sit and go STEP torneys, which basically, you start at STEP 1 for 9 Euros, 6 players and it pays 14 euros to the top 3. Anyway after playing about 10 of these at Step 1 to step 3 i am now up to 121 Euros. Once you get to Step 7, which is a buy in of 210 step tokens, it then pays the top 3 375 euros each in cash, so what i want to do is try and get to about 500 or 600 in tokens and then go for a couple of the big ones to try and win some free dosh. I will update my progress each time i play these. It also gives you step points, but dont know what these are yet, but im up to 22

Finally, played two more Raise The River STT,s for points, 1st one crashed out about 60ish for 2 points and playing the second one now. So far i have 13 points from 8 gamea and two games to go so need top 10 finishes in both LOL

Played a couple of MTT $4 on Stars to get me in to it again this evenin, played one and finished 2o something out of 180, so not a bad start i suppose after a week on the beer!

Gonna track every game from now on as well, thats a new years resolution, need to track all winnings and not withdraw.

Also, have now booked up for Prague in March to play three torneys over there in a week, 100 Euro, 250 euros and a 500 euro buy ins. Flights and digs booked £149 for the week!1!

Played a few 180 sit and goes, absolutly shocked at the standard of the play to be honest. I have to play 10 over a month and dont think i have made the top 100 in any of them, Oh tell a lie, i finished 76th or something, honestly, getting called when i pushed with JJ and called with J2 and he hits a full house and i hit trips! Sums it up, Oh well only 5 to gothank feck!

Played a couple of torneys on Litlewoods last night and cashed in both for about £60!!!!!

Gonna play a couple tonight as i think this will be it until after xmas, although wonna play Sunday Night, but we will see.

Oh yeah, had £78 in Paradise, so played the $1/$2 on Wednesday, cant remember any specific hand, but i now have £300. Played for 3 hours and only played the absoulte mimimum hands and still i kept getting callers, i love that.

Well i know i have not updated for a while but been kind of busy.

Well i played the Virgin Festival in brum and managed to get through to day two, but busted out in about 35th and it paid top 27, so a bit gutted.

Not played that much since, cashed tonight for $300 in the Mansion 150K and cashed in the $4K on Playboy Poker for about £200, so not a bad night i suppose.

Well i played the $50K torney on Mansion but did not finish in the money, pushed all in with AQ on the Button, called by Q 9 and he hit the 9 on the river, so that was that, but still got three tokens for this torney, so will aim to cash next Thursday.

I did play a qualifier for Sundays $150K, and won with 1 add on, so the $110 token cost me $20!

Played a few STTs and finished in the money 3 out of 4 so a nice little profit for the evening of $150

Well i won a token to play the Mansion $110K tonight.

Finished 69th for $330, bit gutted really, played really tight and as soon as got in the money went on the offence and got hammered when i run in to AA and that was the end of that.

I also played two $2 torneys to win a token to the $50K torneys on Mansion, i managed to finish 1st and 2nd, so now i have 4 of these tokens, so will be playing the next four Thursdays, so fingers crossed really.

Well started off on WPT Poker in a $10 WPT Guaruanteed Seat

95 Runners and finished 3rd for $176, gutted as 1st place won a $10K Tour ticket

Played the Mansion $150K but busted out pretty early when my AA`s cracked by 44.

So decided to play a $110K Qualifier for $10, Won that so got a free ticket to Tuesdays game

Finally played the paradie Euro league which runns all month. It pays the top 50 each evening and you get points if you fifnish in the top 50. So far have done so on about 3 occasions, tonight i finished 21st, so overall in the league i now have about 60 points, so am looking to get a top 20 finish overall

Well the kids had a halloween party so did not play till gone 8 and most of the good games had started!

Played the Sky Open at 9pm, out of 650 finished 29th for £39!

Played a few single table torneys ranging from $5 to $30, original bankroll on mansion $455, after playing 11 games bankroll up to $745, so quite a good night really

Wednesday Night Poker

Well after watching England was really in the mood, but thought i`d play one game whilst watching TV in a mood!

Entered a $5 rebuy $12K guaranteed torney on Mansion. Started with 1356 players!

Anyway after 3 hours managed to finish 49th when i had top pair, but lost to two pair and that was that.

I won $58.55, so can comlain, but the standard was very poor to be honest and will play one of these again and reckon to make the final 10 just play really tight.

Tuesday Night Poker

Tuesday was going to just play one game but ended up playing three or Four.

Started by playing a MTT on Mansion to Win a seat to the $50K torney worth $54, only cost $10, so was happy to finish in the top 20 and get a seat.

I then played another one for the hell of it for $5 and won that one as well, so i have two tokens to play the Thursday night $50K torneys.

I then played the Playboy freeroll, i really enjoy the banter of this torney and usually do ok, tonight there were 141 runners and managed to finish 6th, so won the huge amount of $12 and a few points.

So not a bad night really, spent $15 and won $120, so profit of $105

Will play tmrw and Thursday hopefully as i feel confident at the moment and seem to playing well, I can honestly say that when i have gone out of a torney, it is not because i had a worse hand, just getting a few sickening beats, but otherwise nearly always ahead preflop if i push or have called.

Well played the Mansion $150K that i qualified for on Friday

Played really tight until my AQ got busted with 78 and then had to play catch up. There were 750 players and paid top 90 so great value.

Well after griniding for more than an hour managed a respectable 57th for $450, so pretty happy, although the hand i lost with JJ, i had lost 80% of my chips with 20 minutes earlier.

Oh well, overall profit for the evening $440, so cant complain.

Oh yeah, also played a freeroll on classic to win a seat to next Sundays Final, qualified pretty easily, thing is i`ll be on holiday so will ask a mate to play for me, and hopefully he will win me a seat to the finals in the Carabean!!!!!

Friday Night Poker

Well i thought i`d have a look at mansions new software and give it a go.

Played 1 torney for $11, fantastic value as it had 32 players and paid the top 30!

Also, the torney paid a ticket worth $110 to Sundays $150K to the top 20. Well i did ok really as i was only playing for the ticket but managed to finish 1st and get a token for sundays game, so better than forking out the $110, so will let you know how i get on.

Tuesday Night Poker

Well after missing the games at the weekend i finally decided to get back in to it tonight.

Played the Playboy Poker Freeroll and out of 137 finished 16th for a few quid and some points.

I then played the Hilly The Fish Home game on paradise and out of 287 finished 10th, not sure what the prise is yet as it was split between the top 10 (1000Euro).

Also played a UKGF forum freeroll and finished 12th.

Although did not really win any substantial money to brag about happy with the results after quite a long lay off.

This week i hope to play two or three tonight and possibly 3 on Friday and then a couple of big torneys on Sunday, possibly the Poker Million on Poker Starts and the $150K on Mansion, but will see how i get on and if i am happy with my standard i will go for it on Sunday night, but for the time being not really playing a lot of big games until i have played about 20 or 30 torneys to get back in to it

Poker Update

Well after a family holiday and a much needed break i`m back.

Not got many online games lined up but playing in the Live Regionals at the Grovesnor in Plymouth on Saturday. Its a £20 buyin and the top 10% qualify for the National Finals of the APAT torneys that i played last year. Top three also receive medals.

I need some live practise as im playing in the Virgin Festival Finals in November up in Birmingham.

Will update after the weekend and hopefully have some good results as im gonna play in the $150K sunday night game on Mansion

Well not many torneys tonight

Played in the Hendon Mob game and went out about 35th, gutted really played pocket 10s to hard

Then had another go at the Sky Velocity. 800 players and paid top 90, managed 71st for £15, but went card dead after the break when sitting with 15K and blind 8K and 4K, more or less blinded down really, never got a single A in 20 minutes, could not beleive it, never been that short at a table

Oh well, last day playing tmrw and the off on holiday on Thursday for two weeks with Clare and the Kids

lets hope Tmrw we get a few final tables

Monday Night Games

Well not many games to really play tonight to be honest, so i thought i would play a few STT on virgin and a MTT for $20 buyin

Played 5 STT from $3 to $10 finished either 1st or 2nd in all so quite happy about that

Entered a deep stack toreny at 21.00 for $20 with 111 runners, paid top 10, so very happy to finish 2nd (was on about 95K to his 450K heads up) and got level and then got JJ beaten by A7 Oh well, still managed to win $432.90

Looking at my figures for the last three weeks and i`m about $150 short of $5000, so quite happy with my general tournament play

Hopefully will have more updates tmrw as playing a couple of torneys

Welll only played two games tonight.

Poker God on Laddies and donked out really realy

Then played in the UKGF game on Virgin

1st Prize is a seat in the Virgin Poker Live Finals in November worth £120, 5K added so £30K torney, well worth winning

Got down to heads up and was 2/1 down on chips, managed to play pretty well and go on and win the torney, so quite happy really, details below

Hendon Mob game tonight, and I bubbled in 28th, paid top 27, gutted cos no points either.

Missed the Sky open, so played the Sky £1500 velocity, £4 enterance, managed to finish 8th for £45

Played a few cash games on Virgin and started with $100, finished the night with $234, so not too bad i suppose, still gutted about bubbling before the money. I moved with KK and got called by QQ and he hit a Q on the flop, so that put me right donw, got be in it to win it!

Well started of playing the Playboy freeroll as im collecting the points. Ended up finishing about 8th i think for some point and $4 Lol

Then played the Hendon Mob 1st league game, started of steady then got KK behind the SB, raised it and both called, flop was 2 diamonds and a Q, yjought i was laffing, SB goes all in for 700, BB fold and i make the call, he shows K 2 Diamonds, and hits his fluch on the river, bever really recovered from that hand and went out 80ish ut of 140

Then played the Sky Open Velocity, £8 but in with 770 runners, when it was down to 20 i had 9K with the blinds 5 and 10K, so had to make a move as all tables are six handed, within 5 minutes I was up to 80K. I stayed like this for about an hour just playing the SB and BB, eventually made the final table so real buzz, especially as I was watching it and also a few mates were on Sky TV. The commentartor even said i fancy burnley Joe to win as his percentage is very good.

Anway managed to get to 3 players and then bust out the small stack for 500K in chips with AK against A5, although he did hit the 5 but i hit the King on the turn.

Whn heads up i had 1.4 million to about 600K, bascially i just pushed every hand 96 first hand, then AK, and fianlly A4 spades and made a straight to win it,

Monday Night Games

Well started of in the game ii hate each week on laddies, played crap again, i just cannot sus this site out.

Then played in the Sky Poker £5K, finished 7th for £162, and saw myself on TV which was funny!

Also played the £6K on Willy Hill and finished in 23rd for $60

Alex Ross took second place in the $5K on Boss for $1200, so well done to him

The Hendon Mob starts tmrw, finished 11th last year after being in the top 10 all year, structure is better this year so hopefully will enjoy the league again

Well after qualifing through a $5 qualifier I busted out of the Mansion $110K game pretty early after having trip As busted

Then was miffed so thought i would play on Willy Hill as i have not played on their for a while

$50 enterance 113 runners, ended up finishing 2nd for $1180 after losing heads up with Q 10 on a flop of J K 2 He had A 2 and took it down for $1700

Also qualified yesterday for mansions $150K on Sunday, so will hopefully have some more winnings to post soon

Well i am gutted

Qualified through an $8 torney today to the Daily $109 EPT

Paid top 11, so they would get a $1050 seat in the final on Saturday, but bubbled in 13th. Played really well, and got AA, guy moves all in and i`m sitting in 9th anyway with 8K in chips so had to call.

He shows 8 5 Hearts, yeah I know i hate bad beat stories but to go out by two pairs 8 5, i could not beleive it, anyway got $109 to have another go

Also played in the daily 10K on Manion for $20, ended up 18th out of 230 for $115, so all in all nice small profit of about $200 but gutted as i should have got the grand seat.

Cash Games and recent Torney Success

Well not really played that many torneys recently thought i would play cash games.

Results of about 4 days

Celeb Poker Started $50 Ended $210
Mansion Poker Started $25 Ended $120
32 Red Poker Started $25 Ended $390

So total profit $620, played a lot of hours but worth it really and normally only played three tables at once.

This was simply playing No Limit 10/20 cent games, there seems to be an awful lot of players who will push all their chips in with A nothing, so as long as you can bide your time you will always end up ahead.

I did play one torney, well 2

They had a daily freeroll on celebpoker and i won this so qualified to the weekly final where i finished 9th and have now qualified for the final on Seotember 9th. Top 5 all win seats at the WPT!

Not sure is i mentioned also a few weeks ago qualified for the finals in the Poker player freeroll on 888. Top 10 out of 1100 and i finished 4th, so well chufed, final is on the 10th September, so hopefully will do well in one or if not both.
