Sunday Night First Games of The Year

Hopefully i will be playing every Sunday and a few midweek games to get back in the swing

Well quite an eventful first day back.

I started with teh Sunday warm up on Stars, i had a token for the $215 buy in so used that

Stared of pretty tight and won a few hands and after about 2 hours was sitting with 25K and doing ok. The event started with about 4900 players and it paid about 750 One hand i played really badly and i was down to about 4000, so i shoved with 10 9 spades and hit 10s i then shoved with 88 v AK and thankfully they held up and i was back up to about 20K.

Just as the bubble burst i had QQ and won bout 15K which gave me about 40K as we entered the money stages.

I was playing really well and we were down to about 210 players when i get AA. One player mid position with about 80K raised to about 15K and i shove for 70K, any way he calls and flips over A 8 diamonds, well, bad beats or what, i have the hand history, but to gutted to post, needless to say he hits a straight and im gone, i would have had about 150K and been well in touch to finish at least in the top 50 i reckon, anyway i won $576 so not a bad score.

I also played a couple of games on boylepoker and managed to cash in one of the three i played, but nothing massive, about $60 i think, also played a few cash games at low stakes to get back in to the swing.
